Course Description

The Global Job Readiness Program (GJRP), offered by Deakin University in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), is designed to prepare students and young professionals for success in today’s evolving workplace by developing essential employability and life skills. The program focuses on six key competency areas—Communication, Collaboration, Problem Solving, Innovation, Digital Literacy, and Financial Literacy—enabling learners to effectively engage with teams, address workplace challenges, adapt to technological advancements, and make informed decisions in professional and personal settings. Through interactive learning content, practical workplace scenarios, assessments, and self-reflection activities, participants gain industry-relevant skills that enhance their confidence, productivity, and job readiness. Upon successful completion, learners receive a certificate and digital badge, providing recognition of their skills and strengthening their employability in an increasingly competitive and globally connected job market.
