He has pioneered the use of stateof-the-art technology to facilitate access to high quality Ayurveda treatment for the masses across the globe. Dr Chauhan launched the first Ayurveda website. This was a landmark step because it opened up international access to the knowledge and benefits of the 5,000-year-old vetted and respected Indian health science. Under his leadership, Jiva collaborated with MIT to create the world's first mobile-based health app for the TeleDoc project at a time when smartphones were yet to be invented. With the ability to run on any feature phone, this app enabled villagers in remote areas get high quality personalized treatment delivered to their doorsteps. For the success of the project, Dr Chauhan was honoured with the prestigious World Summit Award by the United Nations in Geneva.
